The Health Advocacy and Outreach Club (HAOC) of the College of Nursing Sciences, St. Charles Borromeo Specialist Hospital, proudly extended its mission of wellness and advocacy beyond the classroom with a remarkable outreach program at the antenatal clinic of the hospital.
During this impactful visit, our dedicated members engaged expectant mothers in an enlightening health talk on Cesarean Section (C-Section). We addressed common myths and misconceptions, highlighted its medical importance, and emphasized the need for informed decision-making. By bridging knowledge with compassion, we created an atmosphere of trust, reassurance, and empowerment for the mothers present.

This outreach was more than an educational exercise—it was a testament to our commitment to maternal and child health, to fostering healthier communities, and to raising awareness on vital health issues. For our student nurses, it was also a practical opportunity to live out the values of advocacy, service, and compassionate care that define our profession.
At HAOC, we believe that education is empowerment, and that every conversation has the power to save lives and uplift families. With each outreach, we continue to sow seeds of awareness and contribute to the well-being of society.
✨ HAOC – Wellness is our mission, Advocacy is our voice. ✨
