Significant advances in biomedical science and the complexity of health care have necessitated the need for a new crop of professional clinical nurses who would bring in their critical thinking skills to effectively coordinate, manage and evaluate care for a group of patients in complex health systems. To ensure this, the institution has put in place a sound curriculum, highly qualified lecturers and instructors, adequate modern and state of the art facilities and equipment, a conducive environment for teaching, learning, clinical practice and research, above all the utilization of evidence-based practice by the graduates of this programme. The College highly qualified educators bring with them contemporary knowledge and pedagogical insights from diverse backgrounds.
